Out of the deep have I called unto thee, O Lord

Out of the depths have I cried unto you, O LORD:
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications.

If you, LORD, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who shall stand?
But there is forgiveness with you,
that you may be feared.

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word do I hope.
My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning.
I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Let Israel hope in the LORD,
for with the Lord there is mercy,
and with him is plenteous redemption.
And he shall redeem Israel from all its iniquities.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
is now, and will be forever. Amen.
