Lord, for the Mercies of the Night

Lord, for the mercies of the night
Our humble thanks we pay,
And unto Thee we dedicate
The first fruits of the day.

Let this day praise Thee, O Lord God,
And so let all our days;
And O let heaven's eternal day
Be Thine eternal praise!
