God of the living, in whose eyes
unveiled your whole creation lies,
all souls are yours; we must not say
that those are dead who pass away;
for we believe and know it true,
our dead are living, Lord, with you.

Released from earthly toil and strife,
with you is hidden still their life;
yours are their thoughts, their works, their powers,
all yours, and yet most surely ours;
for we believe and know it true,
